Kellenberger–White art-directed and designed 2022, 2023 and 2024’s marketing campaigns for Charleston’s year-long programme of four festivals having first executed the brand strategy and visual identity for this former Bloomsbury group gathering place.
To do this, we worked closely with photographer Lewis Ronald to create a suite of images that we then used for brochures, animations, film trailers and printed and digital advertising. The series of in-camera double and triple exposures carefully layer botanical photography, details of nudes and still-life objects into sensual, dreamlike glimpses.
The campaigns capture the aura of the famous historical house and fulfill Charleston’s mission to distil the house’s mythology into a 21st-century ethos.
