‘More Than Human: Making with the Living World’
Exhibition graphics and catalogue design for a major exhibition at London’s Design Museum bringing together art, science and radical thinking to ask how design can help the earth prosper by shifting its focus beyond human needs.
The title lettering was produced as a wandering line, using our hands as tools – fingers dunked in paint and ink and moved across the walls, sign-written directly onto the surface. We developed multiple weights governed by the real sizes used in the show: larger type drawn with the whole hand, smaller with two fingers. All graphics were printed on sustainably made paper, and the catalogue was bound in raw brown card to echo the terracotta build.
