East London’s popular Ace Hotel commissioned various designers to create objects for use inside the hotel on the occasion of the 2016 London Design Festival. Kellenberger–White met the brief by creating a magnetic alphabet, which we made by hand-painting single letters on to A4 sheets of paper and then printing them in two sizes on to magnetic sheets. The alphabets are used by staff as a changeable sign system for daily notices and announcements, and were made available for sale in the hotel.
