Kellenberger–White exhibition at GSA

Kellenberger–White were invited by Jenny Brownrigg, the art school’s exhibition curator, to present as a solo exhibition the story of the visual identity we designed for Glasgow International 2014. We provided the original roller-painted letters we had used to make the festival’s digital font, inspired by industrial signage and the lettering on large ships we had seen in the harbour while researching in the city. These B1 sheets of paper were hung throughout the Reid Building, capturing the scale and immediacy of our conception. To give visitors the background and context for our design, several vitrines were set up for printed matter and collected artefacts.
