‘Elephant’ magazine

Kellenberger–White art-directed and designed quarterly cultural magazine ‘Elephant’ from 2017 to 2020. Our approach was to accentuate the sketchbook quality of the magazine. We achieved this with a new masthead, by commissioning a series of illustrators and using a tight family of layout components and typographic conventions. We worked in close consultation with the editorial and productions teams for all of the 16 issues we designed, so that we could continually refine this design approach.
