Antony Gormley, ‘Aerial’
‘Aerial’ is the fourth publication designed by Kellenberger–White for contemporary British sculptor Antony Gormley. Published to mark his first exhibition at White Cube New York, our design continues to parallel Gormley’s interest in the physical proximity of mass and scale with the size and architecture of the book. The design of ‘Aerial’ draws on books’ symmetrical structure to illustrate two visual and one written essay book-ended by two sections which progress from present to past and past to present. A cover displaying the title in linear typography folded in half on translucent paper echoes the theme of reflection and symmetry.
